View Photos

This project was an immense drill shaft project, presenting the largest and deepest drill shafts in the state of Louisiana at the time of construction with the shafts measuring 10’ in diameter and 131’ deep. The bridge project crossed the Ouachita River and involved two of the deepest cofferdams the company has ever built.

This project was divided into two projects, the first project being the main spans over the river, which began in the fall of 2001. The second portion of the project was the construction of the approach spans.
