JMT Trucking Gives Back

Throughout the years, JMT Trucking has been a good corporate citizen in supporting the communities in which they live through hiring and spending money to help stimulate local economies. Below is a list of ways we are involved in our community.

  • We donated hauling services to build the new Ronald McDonald House.
  • We sponsor Military Night at the Barnstormers game to help offset the price of tickets so families of deployed military service men and women can go to the game at no charge.
  • We support the effort of the Animal Rescue League with all the good work they do with abused and unwanted animals.
  • We participate in the largest truck convoy in the country to support the Special Olympics.
  • We donate to the Timothy Yates Heggen Humanitarian Foundation.
  • We support the efforts of the Easter Seals to help their efforts in providing service to the handicapped community.
  • We support many Boy Scouts with equipment and materials as they work towards becoming an Eagle Scout.
  • We have donated money to Wreaths Across America. This support allows them to put wreaths on every gravestone at Arlington National Cemetery.
  • We have donated money to Wigs for Kids. This is a group that has allows people to pledge to grow out their hair, cut it and donate it to make wigs for children fighting cancer who have lost their hair.

JMT Trucking has long placed importance on involvement in the community through ongoing charitable donations as well as participation in a variety of organizations.

We support several local athletic teams, through donation and sponsorship, such as:

- Ankeny Booster Club

- Ankeny Little League

  - Ankeny Centennial Trap Team

  - Urbandale Little League

- Saydel Little League

  • We support the Blue Ribbon Foundation, an organization responsible for raising money to restore the old buildings and build new buildings at the Iowa State Fairgrounds.
  • We donate to the local Whitetail Unlimited.
  • We support True Impact Outdoors, a nonprofit that increases the accessibility of outdoor activities for disabled veterans.
  • We support On With Life whose mission is to rehab those that experience brain injury from an accident or stroke.
