Billy Snead

Director of Safety and Risk Management – The Rasmussen Group

Billy moved to Iowa in 1982 and attended the University of Dubuque where he earned his Bachelors of Science Degree in Occupational Safety and Health.  He has over 30 years of experience providing safety and loss control services in the insurance, construction, roofing, and construction materials industries.  Billy is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP).

Many assignments throughout his career have involved the facilitation and implementation of safety performance management initiatives and safety leadership improvement processes.

Advocating passionately for safety leadership, risk education, and strong employee engagement in the companies are his constant goals and instilling an inspiring safety mission that captures a workforce’s spirit and resourcefulness is what he lives for.

Margo Baker

Assistant to the Safety Director—The Rasmussen Group

Margo is the Assistant to the Safety Director at The Rasmussen Group.  After graduating from DMACC with an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice and Grand View University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Margo was employed with the Iowa Division of Criminal Justice as a criminal analyst until going to work for her family’s tank freight business.  After taking time off to raise a family, she returned to the workforce as a bookkeeper and ultimately made her way to The Rasmussen Group in 2004.

As Assistant to the Safety Director at The Rasmussen Group, Margo’s responsibilities include:  Keeping records of meetings and inspections; reporting claims; proof-reading; scheduling calls, appointments, and tests; writing memos, letters, and articles; generating monthly safety reports and statistical data; and assisting the company’s recruiter.

Working closely with the other members of the Safety Department, Margo strives to implement policies, procedures, and guidelines which help to guarantee a safe and secure work environment for all employees of the Rasmussen Group.

Margo lives in Ankeny, Iowa.

Sajid Ordagic

Safety Manager- The Rasmussen Group

Sajid Ordagic is the Safety Manager for The Rasmussen Group. Sajid started in the construction business working as a laborer and equipment operator for Grimes Asphalt and Paving Corporation between 1998-2002

His work ethic and dedication during his early career years resulted in promotion to Asphalt Supervisor from 2002 -2005.

As a supervisor, Sajid continued to meet and exceed field project goals while maintaining a great safety record.  This led to yet another promotion in his career in which he was named Safety Manager for Grimes Asphalt and Paving, and later the Rasmussen Group from 2005 to present.

Sajid enjoys working with field team members and helps them implement safety controls that lead to reduced workplace hazards.  He performs safety audits of jobsites and inspects facilities, machinery and equipment which help minimize safety risks and avoid team member injuries.

Sajid Ordagic grew up in Bosnia and Hercegovina and now he and his family live in Urbandale, Iowa. He enjoys spending his free time with extended family and friends.

David Webb

Driver Training Manager—The Rasmussen Group

David is the Driver Training Manager for The Rasmussen Group. He started his work career with Jensen Construction Company in 1977 and moved on to driving ready mix trucks in 1981.  He definitely found his niche and has remained in that industry to this day. David managed ready mix plants from 2002 to 2011, then moved into Rasmussen’s corporate office in 2012 to manage its driver training programs.  David has been training drivers in one capacity or another for over 30 years—the most gratifying part of his job has been and continues to be assisting them in becoming successful in their own careers.

David and his wife, Mary Ann, live in rural Maxwell.  He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and attending sporting events and concerts.
