This 3,000' long bridge carries US Hwy 275 over the Missouri River and includes a 624' main span over the navigation channel of the river. This span was completed using a through truss approximately 90' wide and 90' tall. The total weight of the truss was just over 9 million pounds. This project received the 2012 Engineering Excellence Award granted by the American Council of Engineering Companies, and has been hailed as a work of art while being recognized for it importance to the economy of the area.
