This bridge crosses the Ouachita River in Sterlington, LA. The project consisted of two large cofferdams in the Oucachita River, the erection of a 980 foot long steel unit spanning the river and nearly ten miles of concrete and steel piling. This high-rise bridge replaced a 75-year-old movable bridge and enables the vehicular traffic continued passage despite marine traffic flow on the river below.
